Kristen Felthousen is the director of the career counseling center that caters to approximately 1700 pharmacy and health sciences students

ALBANY, NY, May 26, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ --Kristen Felthousen, Director of Career Services for Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in career counseling.

Ms. Felthousen has developed expertise in career development, leadership and coaching in her 15 years of professional experience. As a director for Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, she manages the career counseling center, which caters to approximately 1700 pharmacy and health sciences students on two campuses, which are located in New York State and Vermont. Ms. Felthousen attributes her success to her passion for helping others through coaching and mentoring in conjunction with a strong work ethic. Prior to her current position she worked in the clinical recruitment field.

In 2004, Ms. Felthousen earned a master of science degree in human resources development with a concentration in management from Rochester Institute of Technology. She plans to pursue a doctorate of philosophy in leadership studies in the near future. Her professional affiliations include the American Pharmacists Association, American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, the Society of Human Resources Management, the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration, and the National Academic Advising Association. She is also a certified facilitator of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the Strong Interest Inventory.
