Lisa Norman's area of expertise is in helping disabled individuals find employment

CANTON, NY, April 09, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lisa Norman, Senior Employment Specialist for St. Lawrence NYSARC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in occupation placement services.

With 15 years of professional experience, Ms. Norman serves as a senior employment specialist for St. Lawrence NYSARC. Her responsibilities entail supervising mid-management work of people with disabilities to help them find employment, hiring, training employees, managing case loads, auditing procedures, updating documents on a monthly basis, and overseeing the billing process and regulations. St. Lawrence NYSARC is a nonprofit organization that provides counseling and job placement services.

Ms. Norman is pursuing her Master's Degree at the University at Buffalo, having obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Sociology from SUNY Potsdam. In addition, she has received a diploma in Supported Employment and is a member of the Association for Persons in Supported Employment, STAR Touring and Riding Association, and the National Association of Professional Women. She enjoys helping others and attributes her success to being resourceful.

Ms. Norman is also an independent PartyLite business owner, currently receiving training in assessing people for interest profiles and intelligence quotient measurements.
