Helping Hands Homecare Launches Specialist Training Facility in Warwickshire
Helping Hands Homecare, a leading provider of live-in care and support across England and Wales, have created a specialist training centre for both new and existing carers.
WARWICKSHIRE, ENGLAND, November 10, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A specialist training facility for carers opened at Minerva Mill Innovation Centre in Alcester, Warwickshire yesterday.
Created by Alcester-based leading live-in care provider, Helping Hands, the progressive facility demonstrates a huge investment in the company's training programme, for both new and existing carers, and will be used to further grow the thriving business which is currently hiring on average 25 new carers every week.
Tim Lee, Managing Director of Helping Hands, said; "Despite ongoing challenging economic conditions, we have continued to invest in our business. Quality training and the development and wellbeing of our carers has been at the heart of Helping Hands since my mother started the business in 1989 and remains a key focus today, demonstrated by our recent Care Employer Award at this year's Great West Midlands Care Awards.
"Our bespoke carer training programme sets us apart from our competitors and provides clients and their families with complete peace of mind. We are delighted to be opening this modern new facility, supporting the local Alcester economy and building on our position as a leading West Midlands business within this sector."
The new training facility provides a number of break-out group training areas, multiple mock residential areas for role play training as well as a comprehensive collection of care equipment.
The event was attended by Helping Hands clients, carers and staff as well as health professionals from across the West Midlands.
