Ms. Leary spent five years in corporate recruiting and 10 years at a recruitment agency before starting her own business. She began the Mom Corps Franchise in order to help mothers find flexible careers. As the owner of her company, she is responsible for overseeing marketing, finances and business development. Ms. Leary interviews staffing candidates, conducts background checks and maintains a candidate directory. She attributes her success to her desire to help people improve the quality of their lives.

In 1994, Ms. Leary received a Bachelor of Arts in communication from the College of St. Benedict. She is an an AIRS certified Diversity Recruiter, and a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and 100 Women in Hedge Funds. In her free time, Ms. Leary supports HopeKids and United Way Worldwide.
