Jennie Mae Smith to Be Profiled in Exclusive Registry
Jennie Mae Smith has received several awards from the United States Army where she served for 20 years on Active Duty
BELCAMP, MD, October 4, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jennie Mae Smith, Office Assistant for the United States Chemical Materials Agency, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in military and defense.
Ms. Smith has 25 years of overall professional experience. As an office assistant, she prepares reports and briefing charts which enable the Inspector General and Equal Employment Opportunity Officer to view slides and effectively brief their agendas. Additionally, she updates spreadsheets that track cases by site for each quarter during the fiscal year; gives the Inspector General an overview of each site and allow him to brief commanders on their problem areas. She also prepares and tracks correspondence for the Inspector General, Equal Employment Opportunity Officer and the Legal Office. Ms. Smith was deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Additionally, she was Involved in various mission trips. Prior to her current position, she served as a Human Resources manager.
In 2002, Ms. Smith earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Columbia College, where she was placed on the Honor Society. She is a certified equal employment opportunity counselor, and certified inspector general, and has received several awards from the Army including three Meritorious Service Medals.
