Tricoci University of Beauty Culture (TUBC) has launched a contest that started on May 21, 2010, which will provide a $5,000 scholarship to a potential esthetics student.

CHICAGO, IL, June 09, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tricoci University of Beauty Culture (TUBC) has launched a contest that started on May 21, 2010, which will provide a $5,000 scholarship to a potential esthetics student.

"At Tricoci University, we enjoy helping students start their careers. This contest is especially unique because it gives candidates the opportunity to really express themselves and their idea of the Tricoci University Brand," said Brian Weed, CEO of Tricoci University of Beauty Culture.

This contest, which ends at 12:00 PM CDT on July 6, 2010, requires student hopefuls to show how much they want to attend TUBC. For example, they can take a photo or video of themselves holding a sign, wearing a shirt, making a billboard that has the message, "You Want It? Go Get It. Tricoci University." The idea is to get Tricoci's Facebook fans to campaign in public for Tricoci University and then upload a photo or video of their campaign. The fans will then share their posts with their Facebook friends with the goal of receiving the most 'like' votes. The entry with the most votes wins the $5,000 esthetics scholarship.

"Esthetic students need to have a passion for the craft and the dedication to perfection," said Mario Tricoci, Founder of TUBC. "We are excited to see the creative ways these candidates will show their excitement for Tricoci University."

This is yet another example of how Tricoci University has embraced its fans online and the social media community. Previously, TUBC launched a 'Makeover your Life' Facebook contest that awarded one beauty school hopeful a $5,000 scholarship to attend school at a TUBC campus. More recently, Tricoci University awarding one student a prom makeover through the 'Big Primpin' Facebook contest that had students explain their next life endeavor or what career path they intend to take post high school.
